Asthma

Asthma is a disease characterized by severe coughing and shortness of breath and audible, which pass spontaneously or after administration of appropriate drugs. Underlying Asthma is a chronic inflammatory reaction in the airways, which has a variable course and intensity. In the active stages of inflammation leads to airway muscles clenching and excessive production of mucus in the airways, which makes the air flow and cause these symptoms. The disease is usually allergic in nature. Asthmatic attacks can cause nonallergic factors such as increased physical exertion, inhalation of cold dry air, viral infections, strong emotions and air pollution (cigarette smoke).
